Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

  • Event means the Beermageddon Festival.

  • Organiser means the management team, directors, staff, and authorised representatives of Beermageddon.

  • Ticket Holder means any individual who holds, purchases, or uses a valid ticket or wristband for entry.

  • Venue means the physical site, grounds, campsites, and parking areas where the Event takes place.

 

2. Ticket Purchase, Cancellation, and Refunds

  • All ticket sales are final. In accordance with consumer law in the United Kingdom regarding leisure events, tickets are non refundable except in the event of full cancellation of the Event by the Organiser.

  • If the Event is cancelled, the Organiser will refund the face value of the ticket to the original purchaser via the original payment method. Booking fees charged by third party ticketing platforms are non refundable.

  • Postponement or rescheduling of the Event does not automatically entitle the Ticket Holder to a refund, provided the rescheduled date occurs within a reasonable timeframe.

  • The schedule, performance times, and specific venue layouts are subject to change without prior notice and do not constitute a material change entitling a purchaser to a refund.

 

3. Entry, Identity, and Reentry

  • Admission is strictly permitted only upon presentation of a valid ticket, digital pass, or official festival wristband.

  • The Event operates a Challenge 25 policy. Proof of age using valid photo identification such as a passport, UK driving licence, or PASS accredited card may be required for entry and to purchase alcohol on site under the Licensing Act 2003.

  • Wristbands must be worn securely at all times. Damaged, altered, or tampered wristbands will be void without replacement or refund.

  • Reentry policies are dictated by security staff at the main gate. Wristbands must be shown alongside any required security check upon reentering the Venue.

 

4. Ticket Validity, Resale, and Digital Passes

  • Tickets are non transferable except through official, authorised resale channels designated by the Organiser.

  • Resale, or attempted resale, of any ticket above face value is strictly prohibited and renders the ticket null and void without refund.

  • Screenshots, altered digital passes, or unofficial physical prints will be rejected. The Organiser bears no responsibility for battery failure, device incompatibility, or network failure preventing digital access at the gate.

 

5. Smart Eyewear, Recording, and Intellectual Property

  • Smart Glasses Ban: To protect artist rights, personal privacy, and data security, all smart eyewear, wearable cameras, and recording glasses including Meta Ray Ban, Snapchat Spectacles, and similar devices are strictly prohibited inside performance areas, public structures, and campsites.

  • Unauthorised commercial audio or visual recording, filming, or broadcasting of performances is strictly forbidden.

  • By attending the Event, Ticket Holders consent to being captured in general event photography, crowd shots, and official promotional video footage.

 

6. Child Attendance and Hearing Protection

  • Under 18s: Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult aged 21 or over. Minors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Mandatory Ear Protection for Children: Live music environments generate high noise levels. Children under 16 years of age MUST wear appropriate hearing protection such as ear defenders or noise cancelling earplugs in all music and performance areas. Failure to provide hearing protection for accompanied minors may result in refusal of entry to sound areas or ejection from the site.

  • Adult Hearing Risk: Adults attend at their own risk regarding exposure to high volume levels. Hearing protection is strongly advised for all attendees.

 

7. Vendors, Stalls, and Commercial Compliance

  • All trading, vending, or commercial activity on the Venue premises is strictly restricted to authorised partners approved by the Organiser.

  • All vendors, traders, and stallholders operating at the Event MUST fully comply with all current laws and regulations of the United Kingdom, including but not limited to:

    • Food Safety Act 1990 and Food Hygiene Regulations.

    • Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

    • Consumer Rights Act 2015.

    • Trading Standards, Fire Safety regulations, and local authority licensing conditions.

  • Unlicensed trading, leafleting, or unauthorised branding and sponsorship is strictly forbidden and subject to immediate confiscation and removal.

 

8. Conduct, Safety, and Prohibited Items

  • Antisocial behaviour, violence, intimidation, racism, discrimination, or harassment of any kind will result in immediate ejection without refund and potential police referral.

  • Prohibited Items: Weapons, illegal drugs, psychoactive substances, pyrotechnics, fireworks, sound systems, glass containers, lasers, drones, and smart recording eyewear are strictly forbidden.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to conduct bag, vehicle, and physical searches upon entry and within the Venue to ensure public safety.

 

9. Vehicle Access and Onsite Traffic Control

  • A strict speed limit of 5 miles per hour applies to all vehicles across the entire site.

  • Caravans, campervans, and motorhomes must be structurally safe, roadworthy, and compliant with UK road legal standards.

  • Larger vehicles must utilise a dedicated banksman when manoeuvring on site.

  • Hazard lights or indicators must be used when turning. Pedestrians retain right of way across all pedestrian and campsite thoroughfares at all times.

 

10. Substance Policy and Health

  • The possession, supply, or use of illegal substances or illicit psychoactive substances under the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 is strictly prohibited.

  • Ticket Holders must ensure they are fit to attend. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove individuals whose condition renders them unable to safely care for themselves or others.

 

11. Liability and Force Majeure

  • Attendees enter the Venue at their own risk. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by proven negligence on the part of the Organiser, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

  • The Organiser is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto the Venue.

  • The Organiser will not be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure arises from force majeure events such as extreme weather, severe public safety risks, national mourning, civil disruption, or government restrictions.

 

12. Animal and Pet Welfare

  • Animals and pets are strictly prohibited on site, with the exception of officially recognised, registered Assistance Dogs.

  • Authorised assistance animals must remain under control at all times and must not be left unattended in vehicles or tents.

 

13. Data Protection

  • Personal information processed during booking or event administration is handled in strict compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

 

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

15. General Conduct Code

  • In short: Do not be a DICK. Enjoy BEERMAGEDDON like a reasonable, rational, and considerate human being!
