The Full Story
In the early days, a Friday afternoon at Beermageddon was a bleak expanse of silence and darkness; a void where nothing existed except pure sadness, a distinctly desolate atmosphere, and the faint sound of wailing and gnashing of teeth (fuelled, no doubt, by potentially far too much ale, if such a ridiculous concept even exists).
There was no glorious racket, no chaotic riffs, and certainly no grand design.

Then, born from the late-night schemes, cheap cider-fuelled brain farts, and highly questionable wisdom of a few media crew muppets, Jammageddon was concocted to unleash its glorious chaos upon the festival in 2026.

Armed only with duct tape, misplaced confidence, and the administrative talent of a wet cardboard box, these velvet-brained visionaries set out to forge a legendary saga of heavy metal, mythic jams, and unbridled nonsense.
However, months before the festival even kicked off, reality hit. None of the puppet-brained lunatics who conjured this monster possessed the arcane magic, or basic organisational skills, required to actually build and run it.

Facing a catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions before a single note was even played, the Head Muppet dispatched a desperate distress flare through the fiery ether to Beermageddon alumnus Mark Golder, begging him to take the reins, put the whole madness together, and steer the beast before someone accidentally set fire to a hi-vis jacket.
Which, boy oh boy, he did.

Taking up the mantle like a battle-hardened paladin tasked with babysitting an unruly nursery, Mark transformed a potentially chaotic fray of flying plectrums, rogue enchantments, and media pit mayhem into an epic quest of legendary proportions.

With the sheer grit of a dragon-slayer, (and the patience of a saint) he rallied the troops to hack their way through the dark forests of equipment shortages, technical mishaps and heroically vanquished the most dangerously daft ideas dreamed up by "He Who Should Not Be Named".

Against all odds, the debut edition was nothing short of amazing; a glorious triumph spoken of in hushed, reverent whispers across the realm.

Now, as the realm prepares for its next chapter, the horns of war sound once more.

Jammageddon will return in 2027.

With wild-eyed witches brewing even heavier spells, dragons circling the amplifier stacks, and a fresh army of muppets ready to charge into the breach, the next quest promises to be bigger, louder, and even more delightfully unhinged than the first.
